Responsibilities: 

  • Complete weekly payments by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
  • Purchase Order processing and amendments
  • Work closely with centres to ensure smooth operation and compliance to procedures

2. Admin Executive (Corp Comms & Relations)

Responsibilities:

  • Report to Head of department
  • Ensure the current administrative follow-up in the various functions such as volunteer management, donor management and/or facilitating requests or coordinating between departments or functions are maintained and up-to-date
  • Ensure team’s admin systems, archives and folders are properly archived, recorded and naming conventions are consistent

1. Assistant Manager/Senior Executive - Funding & Fundraising Coordinator (Corp Comms & Relations)

Responsibilities

  • Report to Head of department, as well as account to the Division Head
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders for drawing up a sustainable fundraising plan to look for funds
  • Follow-up on enquiries, match and form or create partnerships for existing needs amongst the varying services
  • Implement effective donor management system and database including cultivation, retention and stakeholder reporting
  • Evaluate all aspects of fundraising requests or appeals within the organisation, to ensure effectiveness and centralise the efforts
  • Develop strategy and operationalise plans to fundraise or appeal for the sponsorship or adoption of services to community and corporate partners etc
  • Update and maintain close communication within the team, and how to put out appeals or campaigns on Fei Yue’s communications channels, as well as through the national giving platform
  • Monitor figures, statistics and behaviour of donors
  • Prepare and upkeep of key reporting documents, databases, and financials for department and/or key meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mass communication, business administration, finance or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of working experiences in relevant fields / sector especially in fundraising and/or CSR work. Depending on experiences, a more senior position will be offered

Responsibilities

  • Report to the department main lead
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders for outreach and volunteering opportunities
  • Follow-up on volunteer enquiries, screen, assess, match and orientate volunteers to the services of the organisation
  • Implement effective volunteer management system including recruitment, training, deployment, reward, retention and recognition
  • Evaluate all aspects of volunteer programmes to ensure effectiveness and implement changes as appropriate

Psychologist
1. Psychologist (Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children - EIPIC)

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in team assessment
    • Conduct functional assessment
    • Participate in First Home Visit interviews, goal formulation, team, ITEP and ITER meetings (when necessary)
    • Conduct home and school visits (when necessary)
  • Conduct the School Placement Assessment
    • Administer a cognitive assessment (WPPSI-4) and interview caregivers using an adaptive behaviour scale (Vineland™-II)
    • Carry out informal assessment through classroom observation
    • Formulate a report based on findings for students applying for admission into a SPED school
  • Formulate the School Transition Report and provide transitional support
    • Conduct standardized achievement test (KTEA-3) for students transitioning to a mainstream school
    • Provide transitional follow up with mainstream school (when necessary)
  • Conduct the Discharge Assessment
    • Administer the Brigance IED III for students considered for discharge

2. Social Work Associate (Child Protection Specialist Centre)

Responsibilities:

  • Assume a secondary role in case management through providing support to caseworkers. To co-work with caseworkers in relation to clients and their family members through casework towards elimination of risk of child maltreatment.
  • To perform liaison work and information gathering with public/community agencies who consult on child protection issues or report on allegations
  • To provide public education and outreach to increase awareness of child maltreatment
  • To provide logistics and administrative support of programmes (e.g. group work)

Outstanding Intern Scheme

The Outstanding Intern Scheme is an initiative by Fei Yue that offers outstanding students with the passion to serve in Social Services, a good head-start in their career.

Eligible students will each receive a once-off education allowance of S$3000 and embark on a fulfilling career in Fei Yue as a full-time Social Worker upon their graduation. 

Students who fulfil the following criteria, can apply for this scheme by completing the Intern Scheme Application form below and emailing it to “[email protected]” :

  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Undergraduate for a Degree in Social Work (1st or 2nd Major in Social Work) from the National University of Singapore (NUS)
  • Completed two field placements with Grade B & above for the second placement
  • Latest Cumulative Average Point (CAP) of 3.5 and above
