Speech & Language Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Assess children's communication function including the evaluation of emergent speech & language skills
- Recommend & provide appropriate therapy & aids to optimize communication
- Provide weekly therapy to children in various settings: classroom, one-to-one or small groups
- Provide feedback to teachers regarding children's progress
- Maintain reports & documentation on children's progress & skills
- Conduct in-service talks on matters relating to speech & language therapy to teachers & parents

Requirements:
- MUST possess minimum Degree in Speech & Language Therapy from an instituition recognized by the Speech-Language Hearing Association, Singapore (SHAS)
- Knowledge of developmental milestones, development of language & oral-motor skills, PECS, visual communication aids, and speech language disorders
- Preferably with 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience
- Possess good communication, written and interpersonal skills

Programme Executives/Officers
Responsibilities:
- Administration & coordination of programmes
- Conceptualize & improve the visibility of programmes & promote them appropriately

Social Worker (Adoption Services)

Responsibilities:
- To handle adoption casework & counselling
- Conduct home study assessment with individuals as well as couples who plan to adopt a child locally or from overseas
- Prepare home study reports
- Conduct workshops
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor Degree in Social Work/Counselling
- Min. 2 years of work experience in counselling couples and parenting issues
- Strong interest in adoption work
- Motivated to adopt an assessor role to conduct home study assessments with clients
- Able to communicate with English & Chinese speaking clients

Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage project or system upgrade
- System maintenance

Requirements:
- Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise between end-user and vendor

- Work closely with professionals in the team to identify & address behaviour problems in children
- Initiate & implement centre/home-based programmes
Requirements:
- MUST possess Master's Degree in Educational Psychology

- Preferably experienced in working with caregivers of disabled children in a social service environment

Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy for motor and sensory needs of children with autism & developmental delay
- Assess motor functions of children by evaluating gross & fine motor skills including their sensory needs and pre-writing skills.
- Recommend & provide appropriate therapy and assistance to optimize the child’s motor & adaptive skills. To determine modifications & adaptations to instruction if required.
- Plan relevant instructional activities for implementation in the classroom & assist children in improving their performance in a variety of learning environments
- Provide weekly therapy to children in various settings: classroom, one-to-one or small groups
- Provide feedback to teachers, other therapists & parents regarding children’s progress
- Maintain reports & documentation on children’s progress & skills
- Conduct in-service talks on matters relating to occupational therapy to teachers & parents
Requirements:
- MUST possess minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy from an institution recognized by the Occupational Therapy Association, Singapore
- Eligible for registration & practice in the country where diploma/ degree was obtained
- Knowledge of developmental milestones, development of motor skills, sensory modulation & integration
